Search Engine Optimization

SEO starts with the development of a website. It’s the best time to establish a solid SEO foundation. Missing this opportunity is usually costly because the technical SEO strategist will have to go back and fix all the technical issues, which is often impossible, especially if the website is already live. 

SEO is less about search engines and more about creating a better experience for real people. We use tools such as GSC, Bing Webmaster Tools, PageSpeed Insights, and others to evaluate, analyze, measure, and improve user experience. Focusing on the user doesn’t mean you ignore search engines or the algorithms; in fact, you are doing exactly what search engines want to see!

SEO/GEO/AEO?

SEO has evolved, and because of its added layers, a couple of new acronyms are being used, such as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization. No, they’re not totally separate fields. SEO is the main dish, and GEO and AEO are the sides, each with slightly different flavors. More on that later.

Web design and development are supposed to be one of the most selfless professions on earth because we don't code for ourselves; we code for the end user. No matter how cool we may think it would be to design something a certain way, it doesn't matter if it will not help the end user meet their goal. This is what we call a user-experience-first approach.

Learning and Teaching

Learning is a journey; the destination is unknown, which is why it’s so exciting. 
Teaching is a privilege, an opportunity to influence the world and to make knowledge more accessible, especially to the most challenged learners. 

  • Break down what they teach into digestible units of knowledge.
  • Explain and demonstrate the real-life application of each unit of knowledge and skill.
  • Connect the units of knowledge so students understand how each concept fits into the larger picture and can apply what they’ve learned as a whole.

Each learner must have the opportunity to reach understanding at their own pace. Therefore, a good teacher strives to know every one of their students: their challenges, unique abilities, and the best way they learn. 

Teaching, as an activity, transforms both the learner and the teacher.
